The farmstead La Valletta Centro del benessere is situated
at the foot of the Ischitella town, in one of the most beautiful and
panoramic valleys of the whole Gargano promontory. It has 33 beds in
comfortable double rooms with private bath, meeting rooms, a restaurant,
a "pizzeria", a bar, a swimming pool, a tennis court and a
midget football field, and a big equipped park. At sunset the sun
creates every evening in a different and unique way light effects with
intense and violent colours that reflect from the swimming pool to the
motionless surface of the lagoon and finally break on the ripples of the
sea.
The farmstead was realized refurbishing some ancient
farms used for growing and processing olives and for sheep breeding. It
faces the plain of the Varano lagoon and at the horizon you will see the
serrated outline of the Tremiti islands marking the boundary between sea
and sky. On clear days, from the farmstead terraces, you may admire the
infinite shades of blue of the Mediterranean landscape:
The farmstead is surrounded by millennial olive trees,
each a unique work of art and it extends over 20 hectares of green hills
inside the Gargano National Park. Here nature is still uncontaminated
and you will regain
your own harmony and will be able to relax.
